I knew something was wrong the second I saw it in person, they didn't even get the aspect ratio of the cover image right! If I want an ebook I'll go to Project Gutenberg.

This is the book! Gathering books from my and my parents' childhoods. This was a favorite, Pyle's illustrations are terrific especially since we had just seen an exhibit of his works in Chadd's Ford, PA.
Howard Pyle is the best writer of all! He creates a mood like no other author can!
Exactly as ordered and fun to read!
I loved this book when I was 6, and now I have my own copy. Hurrah!
Great historical Pirate tales, with insightful history. Description did not indicate any language except English, and by golly.. it IS in English!
It was in far better condition than I expected and will be a great addition to the Hemingway Pfeiffer museum in Piggott, Arkansas. This is the book that Ernest Hemingway loved to read to his son John Hemingway while they were staying at his wife's parent's house in Piggott between 1928 and 1940.
Howard Pyle wrote AND illustrated Book of Pirates. This edition had no illustrations and it was returned for a refund
