Maybe This Christmas O'Neil Brothers Sarah Morgan Books
This a slow-burning, secret-crush, friends-to-lovers, contemporary romance with a holiday theme. I read the first in the series, Sleigh Bells in the Snow, last Christmas, and I didn't love it because I really didn't like the heroine. This book is better, and certainly works as a stand alone if you haven't read the previous books in the series (there's a second book that I haven't read).Brenna and Tyler have been best friends since childhood, but Brenna has always been in love with him, but kept her feelings to herself, believing Tyler would never love her back. Tyler is a commitment-phobe who keeps all of his relationships superficial after accidentally getting a high school classmate pregnant. He's attracted to Brenna, but would never act on it out of fear of jeopardizing their friendship. Both live and work at Snow Crystal Spa and Resort, a ski area in Vermont, but when the resort gets overbooked at the holidays, Brenna has to move in with Tyler, and their mutual attraction suddenly threatens their friendship the way they both always feared it would.
I found the first half of this book kind of slow, but I know there are people who really enjoy slow-burning, tension-building romances, and this definitely fits that bill: the couple don't share their first kiss until page 269. The last third of the book moved a lot faster and I found it emotionally cathartic (it made me cry twice) without being too angsty.
I had a few quibbles with some of the subplots -- Brenna's tense relationship with her parents resolves just too easily, for example, and Tyler's ex is just too shrewish to be believed -- but nothing that ruined the story for me.

Maybe This Christmas O'Neil Brothers Sarah Morgan Books Reviews
I really like Sarah Morgan's insights and ability to communicate how her protagonists think and feel. I like getting to know her characters and the places she has them interact in. I get a strong sense of place which I also enjoy.
As usual, the characters and story line were perfect. I am going to miss the fabulous O'Neals. Loved the fun and adventures they share. The girl time too.
The Tyler - Brenna is a story line that you are teased with in the other books...it was great to finally get to the conclusion. Probably my favourite in the series.
In this book Brenna works at Snow Crystal resort with the man she has loved since she was four. Ty is one of the O'Neil Brothers and a champion skier. There are many interesting twists and turns to the plot which lead to a happy ending.
This book grabbed me from the beginning. I'm already familiar with the series and the author and I was looking forward to reading about Brenna and Tyler's story. I wasn't disappointed, and I've been sleeping less for a few nights because I couldn't put the book down. It's sweet and beautiful. I love the pacing and how the author keep us wanting things to happen. I'm a beach person, but reading this series makes me want to go to the snow and the mountain.
Expertly written story, continuing the O'Neil family series, this tale of lifelong best friends Tyler O'Neil and Brenna Daniels. Will they become more? Will Brenna speak up and tell Tyler how she feels? Taut with childhood pain to overcome, Tyler's forced retirement from his elite Olympic athlete skiing career due to an injury, his building a new life, finally raising his daughter Jess after years of battle with the mother. Dense layers of lively friendships, the tight-knit mountain community, Shy bullied Brenna trying to navigate moving forward with her life, either with Tyler or without him. Her life-awakening is an excellent, angsty part of the story. The banter is fantastic; Jess is an ebullient almost teen who infuses everything with her energy and drive to be like her Dad. Most romantic conclusion ever. Fabulous.
Brenna has loved Tyler since high school. She has waited for him to fall in love with her. She
is working with him daily at his family ski resort. Brenna has to move into his house when her cabin is rented during Christmas
week. Will Tyler realize he loves Brenna before she leaves her job after Christmas because she feels it is time to move on since Tyler isn't able to say I Love You. Sarah has written a wonderful story of friendship and love. Looking forward to read more of her books.
