This is book three of The Water Keepers Series. The book is action packed with a little less romance than the other books in the series. There are lots of times when it seems as if the bad guy, Voss, has been killed but he always comes back. Another plot in the book has to do with the rules of Ambrosia, the alternate universe that exists right there in California where the water keepers come from. Many rules have to be broken by the leaders of Ambrosia to allow Sadie into Ambrosia permanently and to allow her entire family to stay together. The book keeps you in suspense about so many things. Characters are allowed to change their minds which makes the reader keep guessing on what will really happen. I recommend this book to just about anybody.

This is a great series. It is well written and each book builds on the previous one. I can hardly wait to see what happens next!
This story had everything needed to be perfect. The story had only a few minor errors in it. Also, the story had an amazing plot. The perfect amount of romance between Hamlin and Leena and Rayne and Sadie. The ending left you in suspense so I am ready for the next book to come out! This story was very entertaining and I loved it so much, I couldn't put it down! I read all 3 books in only 3 days. I'm sure you'll love it just as much as I did because this book and the other 2 books were absolute perfection. Christie Anderson is definitely on my list of favorite authors now! Everything she writes, turns to gold!
I found this series through a free kindle book, and now it is honestly one of my favorite series. The characters are all extremely intriguing and unique and there are so many lines woven that it has become perfectly meshed. There's the perfect balance of heartbreak, joy, fear, and action to keep people happy; I struggled to put this book down even to sleep. I recommend this extremely highly; it was such a fantastic read!!!!! I guarantee you'll enjoy it.
I really like the series. The depth of emotions and longings the characters experience and feel make it feel so relatable. It has been one adventure after another and I’m looking forward to seeing how it wraps up in the last book.
At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like the water keepers. I am so excited that I decided to stick with book one! It took a little while to introduce the characters but man I really love all three books and am sorry that book four isn't available yet! I'm ready for Sadie and Rayne's story to continue! Excellent story it held my attention and has left me wanting more. Now. This is a book series that I'm going to introduce to my daughter. I won't have to worry about the content being too advanced for her. Thank you Christie Anderson and please hurry with book 4!! Looking forward to take the journey with Sadie!
Rayne and Sadie's love story is delayed again as Rayne waits for the council to decide his fate, and I was a little disappointed that they spent most of the book apart, but it was a nice progression of the overarching story. I thought this was going to be the end of the series, so I was shocked when I reached the end and realized there is a fourth book, as yet unreleased, with no release date in sight! Ugh! I REALLY want to read the rest of it now - I'm too invested! Fingers crossed that it will be available soon.
It's decent. I'm judging based off the expectation for what it is. These books are not great literature by any means. But they are entertaining and this one held my interest as well as the other two. I do find that suspension of common sense is needed at times, and you can't think too much about how the two worlds relate, but as long as you can do that, it's fine. Do not read this without having first read the first two books in the series (they definitely depend on knowledge from the previous stories). That being said, if you liked the first two, I don't see why you wouldn't like the third.
