I've read all the Cecelia Ahern books and this one was special. Two short ghost stories.Both are quite dark and quirky.

"Girl in the Mirror" was so captivating I felt sucked into it by the end of the first page. It was as beautiful and horrifying as anything written by Edgar Allen Poe. It's about a little girl's relationship with her blind grandmother, and finds out the secret reason for her grandmother's strange aversion to mirrors. Haunting visions from this story remain quite vivid in my mind, months later. Very well written.

The Memory Maker is about a lonely elderly scientist who creates a machine which can help input memories which people have either lost, forgotten, or never experienced. It was worth reading, but more forgettable. It's worth buying this book just for the first wonderfully done ghost story!

I simply love Cecelia's book but in this one I didn't find the magic.
It's not a good book if what you're searching for is the comfort of a beautiful history (
Loved all her other books this one was a bit hit and Miss more like a story in a mag. than a book
Not the normal Cecelia Ahern story but it was still good. I enjoyed another side to her writing. Nice add to my collection.
I didnt really like the first story too much, it was ok. But I LOVED the second story. Short stories, read the book in like an hour.

I really like this author. This story left me hanging a little, still looking for the ending. It is said to be a short story and the rest of the books read by this author were full novels and I love her books.
I don't know what happened with this one... but I really didn't like it.
